Service Scope:
Proactively work with staff to identify uses of specific technologies to meet business needs:
Tableau for data visualization
ArcGIS for mapping
Salesforce for program management and CRM
Seamlessdocs for simple online form creation
Other technologies as determined during course of normal activity.
Hold “office hours” every 2 weeks (alternating the weekly focus between Salesforce and Tableau) to gain an understanding of the business needs at a granular level so that business users can ask questions in a low-key environment In addition to the office hours and training sessions, the coordinator will continue to develop screen recordings and simulations of systems (by function/role) using the Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK) tool.
Document and estimate the Cost/Benefit of enhancement requests using a predefined estimation worksheet for missing functionality in a basic way to forward to business analysts for prioritization as enhancements to systems or development of new data sources as exports from source systems into business intelligence tools (like Tableau).
Develop training materials and lead trainings.
Training materials are likely to be a combination of information in PDF, UPK and potentially recorded WebEx formatted presentations.
Continually develop UPK training materials and update as necessary.
Schedule recurring training sessions using a lesson plan for each session which builds into a comprehensive syllabus built around user roles in the systems and needed business functionality.
Conduct post-training assessments to determine and implement improvements in training materials and presentation.
Coordinate translation of business requirements to development and implementation
Work with Operational Transformation & Lean (OTL) team members and program staff in development of business requirements
Work with OTL and program staff in development of a Cost /Benefit analysis to justify an enhancement request using a predefined estimation worksheet.
Coordinate with technology, development and project management teams to ensure business requirements are met.
Test solutions to ensure they meet business need and leverage capabilities of the platform efficiently.

Mandatory Skills:
4-5 years’ experience with Tableau and/or Salesforce
4-5 years’ experience delivering technical training to end users
Experience with PeopleSoft User Productivity Kit (UPK) a plus
Less experienced candidates will be considered with a rate commensurate with their experience

Desired Skills:
Completed PeopleSoft User Productivity Kit (UPK) training scenarios.
Other completed training documentation (HTML, PDF, etc as determined with staff).
Training sessions with NYSERDA staff to build critical skills necessary for ongoing operations.
Documented estimates of the Cost/Benefit of enhancement requests.
