Gantech, a GCOM company, is looking for candidates to fill a DevOps Cloud Architect role in our Maryland office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serving as leader and subject matter expert in cloud and DevOps technology
• Working with key stakeholders to drive strategy, facilitate collaboration, and deliver strategic planning artifacts to feed the strategic planning process
• Deliver solution architectures to execution teams, communicating their value and ensuring implementation viability and success
• Working closely with client engineering teams to implement solutions to cloud and data services requirements
• Facilitating the development process and operations
• Developing and managing cloud-based solution
• Identifying setbacks and shortcomings.
• Working with the center of excellence identifying suitable DevOps channels across the organization.
• Establishing continuous build environments to speed up software development.
• Delivering comprehensive best practices.
• Managing and reviewing technical operations.
• Guiding the development team.


Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Deep understanding of cloud computing and data technologies, business drivers, emerging computing trends, and deployment options (preferably in Microsoft Azure)
• Expert in defining, designing and developing distributed and scalable products and services, including reusable domain-specific microservices on multi-platform /hybrid clouds (such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Rackspace, VMware, or OpenStack)
• Advanced understanding of Application, Infrastructure and security architecture and non-functional aspects like Performance, Scalability, Reliability, Availability etc.
• Strategic business acumen and understanding of organizational strategy and ability to design information systems to deliver that strategy
• Strong expertise in DevOps, Agile methodologies, containers, CI/CD, and tools like VSTS, Jira and Azure DevOps tools
• Advanced knowledge in architecting complex Enterprise grade solutions in on-premise and cloud environments.
• Advanced experience with software and product development lifecycle (incl. coding, coding standards and reviews, source control, testing, debugging, build, deployment and operations)
• Strong understanding of one or more development platform .Net technologies (C#), Java / JavaScript
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to lead effectively across organizations and projects.

GCOM is looking for candidates who are JUST RIGHT to fill a role of Proposal Compliance, Technical Writing, and Production Coordinator to join our Pursuits Team located in Albany, NY or Columbia, MD.


Key Responsibilities:
• Perform initial administrative, corporate, insurance, and compliance reviews of Client Solicitations and Project Contract Documents; clearly report the results; and facilitate subsequent formal reviews by Finance, Legal, and other internal and external subject matter experts and counsels.
• Complete and submit all administrative and compliance documentation required by the issuing Agency’s proposal documents.
• Set up tracking tools to monitor progress and completion of complex proposal response documentation and compliance efforts.
• Actively monitor Issuing State and Local government procurement websites for updates and addenda and clearly communicate same to pursuit team and all stakeholders.
• Support and/or manage gathering and update of pointed documentation of pursuit staff, applicable corporate project experience, and related references documentation.
• Lead physical and electronic production of pursuit and proposal response documents culminating with response submission and verification of delivery.
• Administer team collaboration website Communications and other related tools.
• Complete special projects as may be assigned from time to time related to process and documentation improvements and team capability development.




Qualifications:
• Ability to effectively engage and communicate (both in writing and verbally) with business and technical teams, GCOM Management, partner companies, and Client procurement staff to discuss pursuit and proposal document status and issues throughout the response cycle.
• Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and meet schedule and task deadlines.
• Ability to lead and/or perform style and editorial review of pursuit and project documents.
• Capable of effectively preparing reports, responses, and briefings targeted to a wide range of audiences.
• Highly skilled in editing Microsoft Office documents
• Ability to set up and train corporate and partner staff on documentation templates, style guides, and pursuit team process documents.
• BA or BS Degree from a four-year institution
• 4 years of progressive experience in technical writing or coordination related positions
