Service Scope:
The quality assurance analyst (QA) is responsible for developing and establishing quality assurance standards and measures for the project. This individual will also gather and analyze data in support of business cases, system requirements and proposed changes. This will include writing test plans and scripts for tracking defects and fixes in software application development, information systems, and operating systems. The QA Analyst will apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate Business and IT processes through careful testing in order to maximize the business’ ROI from the project. The primary responsibilities of this position are to perform and manage the Quality Assurance processes to ensure that all software applications, configurations and changes meet defined requirements through an approach that includes manual and automated testing based on business scenarios.

Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related degree
• At least 3 years of experience working in projects of similar scope and complexity
• At least 5 years of experience in QA / testing processes, standards, techniques and Development Methodologies.
• Experience in design and implementation of at least one (1) Data Warehouse and Analytics Platform that integrates data from multiple data sources and systems
• Experience with complete STLC – Software Test Life Cycle
• Experience in creating and executing Test Plans, Test Case, Test Scenarios, and Test Scripts to determine the optimal application performance according to specifications
• Development and implementation of functionality tests
• Development and implementation of regression tests
• Experience receiving, interpreting and documenting error reports from the business
• Tracking of reported problems and defects
• Experience with Test Automation Frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber or similar, a plus
• Experience in planning, coordinating and writing automated functional and regression tests, a plus
• Ability to interact with stakeholders to test new and existing interfaces.
• Eagerness to work within a dynamic, client-focused, serviceoriented environment.
• Support the development of the project plan.
• Reports status of assignments to management on a regular basis.
• Excellent analytical, group facilitation, communication, and relationship management.
• Must be organized, a self-starter and must have ability to prioritize work.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate cross-functionally
• Keeping up to date with standards and requirements of software quality assurance

Desired Skills:
• Experience performing automated tests on web applications, a plus
o ISTQB (International Software Testing Quality Board -any level) or CAST (QAI - Certified Associate in Software Testing), is preferred
o Experience with Project management tools like JIRA, Project and other Microsoft Office tools including VISIO and PowerPoint
o An understanding of object-oriented programming paradigm
o Knowledge of testing tools/ALMs like HP ALM, TFS or similar
o Knowledgeable and experienced testing applications developed with technologies like Java, Java Script, .NET, AJAX, J2EE, Python, R, Power BI, Qlikview, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Dynamics CRM, Oracle 12g, OBIEE, ACCELA, ArcGIS, QGIS
o Agile process knowledge, is a plus
o Current Project Management Institute Certification (PMP-PBA) or IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysis) CBAP, is a plus
o Experience in a Data Science Role, is a plus
o Experience as a project manager or project coordinator, is a plus
o Experience working with GIS datasets, is a plus
