Data Collector:
This application will aid in converting
Windows-based form applications to the
Pocket PC platform. The target
customers for this product are government
agencies who typically send auditors and
inspectors to collect data on paper forms.
These forms are then often entered by
hand into a PC application. Our product
will make this process far more efficient
by allowing the worker in the field to
collect the data in an electronic format
directly on a Pocket PC device and then
transfer this data to their host PC or
a centralized server simply by syncing
the device with their computer.
Resource Planner(RP)
Resource Planner is an Enterprise Resource
Planning (ERP) application. Resource
Planner provides centralized database
system, user interface screens and
programmed business logic that supports
manufacturing and service businesses with
their Supply Chain activities ranging from
Customer Order Quoting, Order Entry,
inventory control, Purchasing, Shipping,
Receiving, Invoicing and Payables.
RP also offers interface to popular
accounting software used by small to
medium size business. Small businesses
are no longer at a competitive
disadvantage due to availability of
Resource Planner. The scalability of the
application means that a growing business
can select RP without fear of outgrowing
their ERP system and resulting transition
costs and associated training cost for its
employees. The internet connectivity
features provide the ability to work from
anywhere. For small businesses, where

Proposal and Resource Tracking System(PRTS)
The primarily purpose of PRTS is to improve the existing process of RFP gathering, evaluation and proposal tracking. This application will primarily focus on aiding the Marketing Managers, Proposal Managers, Business Managers, and Team members with tools and utilities that enable them to meet their objectives efficiently. It is intended to be used by Marketing Managers, Business Managers, Proposal Managers, Team Members and Recruitment Department interface for the following purposes.
• RFP Gathering
• Proposal Tracking
• Proposal Library
The system provides a tool to efficiently manage the organization resources. It further simplifies the ability to track detailed information pertaining to employees. It also enables the organization to evolve/structure services tuned to the needs and information requirements of various proposals.
The system also provides access to individual employee to update their information.
Web Based Scanning Solution(.NET/J2EE/Filenet P8)
The Scanning solution developed by GCOM allows the user to scan documents using a web browser. This solution is available for both .Net & J2EE Platform. This is a true web scanning solution specifically designed for web applications. It enables the user to acquire images from any TWAIN compatible devices and upload the scanned images to web servers. FileNet P8 Content manager and backend database (Oracle/Sql Server/Sybase) serves as content store and data store respectively. Content Manager supplies the core document management capabilities, and backend database manages the foundation data that supports the product.
With the carefully designed interface, GCOMS scan solution is very easy to use and at the same time very powerful. It is compatible with TWAIN specification V1.9. It has built-in TIFF, JPEG, PNG and PDF encoder and decoder.
With this solution you can control any scanner, digital camera or capture card if it has a TWAIN driver. High-level acquisition support is provided for ease of use, and low-level functionality is provided for flexibility and control in even the most demanding applications.
It has many features specifically designed for web environment, such as uploading and downloading images through FTP or HTTP protocol. It also works with SSL.
Document Migrator
This solution was developed specifically to help the customers who were planning to transition from older panagon platform to the new FileNet P8 platform. The document migration solution is .NET based solutions that uses the FileNet IDM toolkit API’s to retrieve documents from old panagon repositories (IMS/DS/CS) and migrate it to new FileNet P8 object Store.The Migration tool will extract document classes, properties, folder structure, and documents from FileNet IMS/Content Services repository. The bulk load tool loads the meta data and content directly into new FileNet P8 Object Store. The solution can recreate document classes, properties and folder structure to be identical to source FileNet system.Optionally, the solution can also be configured to create a custom mapping from the old to the new.
This solution is highly configurable solutions consisiting of a very user friendly interface that allows user to select the source/destination document repositories and specify filter conditions for documents to be migrated. The solution also supports migration of annotations, conversion from TIFF to PDF and destination file compression.
FileNet P8 Workflow Customization
The GCOM ECM team consists of members that are very proficient with the Web Application Toolkit (WAT) framework and are assisting clients in customizing the FileNet P8 Workplace as per their business needs. Our FileNet Implementation Services bundle the industry experience, project management and technical skills needed to successfully deploy a FileNet system. This includes requirements analysis, developing the system architecture, configuration documentation and rollout support.
