George C. Newstrom

George Newstrom most recently served as President for NTT DATA Services Federal Government, Inc. after NTT DATA acquired Dell’s services subsidiary in November 2016. Prior to this acquisition, Newstrom served as President and sole director of Dell Services Federal Government, Inc. where he managed all business and operational aspects of Dell’s service offerings to federal customers.
Newstrom has decades of experience leading IT services organizations within the State and Federal Marketplace including serving as Secretary of Technology for the Commonwealth of Virginia as Chief Information Officer and head of the Center for Innovative Technology under then Governor Mark Warner.
Prior to his role at Dell, he served in leadership roles as President and Chief Operating Officer for Lee Technologies and President and Chief Executive Officer for WiSPER Technologies. Previously, for a period over two decades, he held leadership positions with Electronic Data Systems (EDS), in the health care and all government sectors in the US. He culminating his career at EDS as a Corporate Senior Vice President and President of EDS Asia Pacific based in Hong Kong.
Newstrom served in the United States Marine Corps as a Communications and Electronics Officer and holds a degree from the University of California, Davis. His community involvement includes serving and holding advisory and leadership roles on numerous foundations and volunteer boards such as The Virginia Business Higher Education Council, Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government Advisory Board, the National Commission on Restructuring the Internal Revenue Service, Information Technology Association of America (ITAA), Professional Services Council (PSC), Northern Virginia Technology Council, the George Mason University Foundation as Vice-Chair and the American Heart Association Annual Heart Walk. In addition, Newstrom served eight years as the Chair of the World Information Technology and Services Alliance which is the leading voice for public policy for the information technology industry around the globe.
He currently is on the Board of Advisors of GCOM and the Board of Directors of Cyber Defense Labs, Inc.

Anne Roest has more than 35 years of experience in technology, starting as a programmer for Fidelity Investments in Boston. From there Anne moved to Albany where she worked for a bank before moving to New York State Government. Anne rose through several State positions including Director of Technology for the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, and the CIO for New York State Public Safety. She moved to New York City Government in 2004 as Commissioner for the Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications (DoITT) and CIO for the City of New York. Upon retirement from the City in 2008 she accepted a position back in New York State to oversee the restructuring of the State’s massive IES program. Anne established a reputation for successfully managing large technology modernization projects, creating a more transparent and open government, and fostering partnerships to improve government efficiency and service delivery. Now fully retired from government she acts as an Advisor to GCOM Software.
