GCOM Selected by Maryland Department of Information Technology as Agile Resources Provider

GCOM announced today that it has been selected by the Maryland Department of Information Technology (DoIT) as one of only ten firms eligible to provide services to state agencies via the Agile Teams Resources task order. Through this procurement path, GCOM will provide agile development services to government agencies across Maryland, helping them continue to modernize legacy systems and provide better digital services for Maryland residents.

“GCOM has a strong track record of helping Maryland agencies accelerate modernization through agile development practices,” said Christa Stolarik, VP and Maryland Strategic Client Executive at GCOM. “We’re looking forward to using our expertise to support even more critical State Information Technology programs and projects.”

GCOM currently supports an array of technology initiatives for the Maryland agencies, including Maryland State Libraries, Maryland Department of Health, and Maryland Department of Transportation, among others.

The Agile Teams task order creates a pool of highly qualified and capable firms that specialize in recruiting and retaining highly qualified agile technical resources. Agile Teams provides a centralized and streamline procurement process to State government agencies to support their technical, development and implementation resources. The original proposal for the award was submitted under GANTECH, which was acquired by GCOM in 2019.
