NYC Small Business Services
GCOM created a first-of-its-kind Business Dashboard for NYC Small Business Services where business owners can keep track of all their interactions with the city, connecting 47 separate transaction types from 11 previously siloed agencies. NYS Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC)
GCOM partnered with The Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) to deliver an Amazon-like shopping experience for NYS Sportsmen and Sportswomen. The DECALS portal provides an innovative, engaging, and intuitive user experience and reduces end-user transaction time from 4 minutes to less than 1 minute per transaction. In addition, NYSDEC received accolades from the New York State Town Clerks Association on the new user interface, both for the greatly improved ease of use and significant performance improvement.
NYC Pay or Dispute Parking App
The New York City Department of Finance (DOF) issues 8-10 million parking tickets annually. They wanted to offer an easy-to-use and accessible method for residents pay their tickets. GCOM developed the Pay or Dispute app to accelerate revenue collection, minimize the need for in-person transactions, and provide a simple, modern user experience.
The app processes more than $120M NYC parking ticket payments per year and won the Center for Digital Government City Government-to-Citizen Experience award. It’s also received over 235,000 user ratings and reviews with an average user review of 4.7 out of 5 stars.
