Client Challenge

Maryland’s Aviation Administration leaders needed a modern data analytics and visualization solution that would allow for tracking, trending and analysis of KPIs and goals at the office, division, and enterprise levels. By replacing the current process — which was manual and resource intensive — with a scalable solution, the agency south to increase efficiency, improve reporting and standardize performance management across divisions.

Solution

To accelerate time-to-value and secure buy-in among the MAA’s stakeholders, GCOM worked with the client to select two high-value use cases to serve as a pilot for the program. Within the first two weeks, we developed dashboards for the pilot use cases and began conducting focus groups with users across the organization that informed a long-term analytics roadmap.

GCOM developed a powerful performance dashboard that allows executives and managers to easily track and analyze the organization’s most important KPI’s. Users can quickly build visualizations to better understand performance trends related to citations, inspections and incidents. Managers can track performance over time, identify bottlenecks and prioritize areas for improvement.
